Hardtail Stays

12 Aug

What can I say? When all else fails head to the Apple Apps Store and get yourself a cool, if basic, T-Chart app and lay out the pros and cons of your dilema. Hardtail stays home and the Ellsworth Evolve comes to Leadville. All set. See you at 9,600″.

your not using yout GT Team bike??? dude Dave Weins is using a hardtail.

that would be abig chance for you to support GT and you take another bike brand

    weak!

you should be off the team and hand your bike back in

Meh. Maybe. Maybe not. Trust me, GT’s gotten plenty of exposure this season and I’m no Dave Wiens (that includes talent, factory/sponsor support, and options for race bikes). Truth be told, the GT’s probably only sitting right now because I couldn’t afford the risk of not having it function perfectly and it has some unidentified mechanical issues right now.

That said, I’m happy to ride the Ellsworth and I think it’ll give me the day I’m looking for. Long way of saying, given all available options, I’m comfortable with my choice. Call it weak if you like. See you at the finish.

    ok
    good choice
you got to do what you got to do
leave the GT in the garage and ride some other bike
i think GT should have let you use a Marathon bike for the race
that would maybe have been better

    good luck and have fun
