Who Am I?

I’m Brian De Groodt and I’m a bicycling junkie.  It’s true.  I can think of no more beautiful and efficient machine than the bicycle.  The bicycle was my first car.  It’s the machine that gave me range away from home base.  It let me see friends.  It moved me quickly at the dusk of night before curfew expired.  It catapulted me off makeshift ramps for days on end.  Me and my yellow banana seat Schwinn flying for yards.  What more fun could a kid have?

I never outgrew my love of the bicycle and in my life that’s a rarity.  I’ve bored of plenty.  Jobs, women, friends, food, music, cars, fashion and much more. But never the bicycle. 

So here’s my blog. I ride my bicycle as far and long as my day job allows–and often that’s pretty far.  Come on.  Let’s ride together.
