I have to say I really was starting to think Bahati was after something different. Giving to a community in the name of giving only. I couldn’t comment on if they were clean as a team or not, but now seeing their willingness to take aboard Floyd Landis really puts them into the Michael Ball - Rock Racing camp for me. I have absolutely no tolerance for the doping in any sport (unless it’s explicitly stated as acceptable and we know what the drugs are that are being used). Add to this Landis’ lying and the total shit-circus he made out of the sport the summer of 2008 and I really can’t say I’ve moved anything but further away from Bahati. There are far more ethical ways to promote the message and causes they profess. If nothing else, the kids they allegedly are looking to show a path of honor and discipline to a wholesome life are getting a real mixed message—and that’s the real shame of anyone that cheats in this sport.
